Weekly Historic Tours of Perry-Mansfield!
Weekly tours of the Perry-Mansfield Campus have ended for the summer. Regular tours will start up again in 2024.
Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp offers weekly, free tours of its 110-year-old camp. Perry-Mansfield is North America’s oldest performing arts camp. Hear the rich history of Perry-Mansfield from its early days in the 1910s through today. Hear about famous alumni, such as Jessica Biel, Julie Harris, and Dustin Hoffman. See historic buildings that are still used today.
The tour is a vigorous walk over uneven terrain and includes walking up and downhill. Sturdy walking shoes are highly encouraged. This tour is not suitable for walking in flip-flops. Dogs are not allowed on the walk. A hat is also recommended. Participants should bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
The tour starts at the Julie Harris Theater. Please arrive by 9:45 a.m. to sign in. The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours. For more information, call the office at (970) 879-7125. Perry-Mansfield is located at 40755 RCR 36, Steamboat Springs. It’s just a 10-minute drive from downtown Steamboat Springs.
