Campus
Steamboat Springs
Perry-Mansfield is located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, 150 miles northwest of Denver. A small Rocky Mountain community of 9,000, Steamboat Springs is rich with Western charm and natural beauty. Nestled in the hills of beautiful Strawberry Park, our rustic 74-acre campus provides students a safe, nurturing environment in which to learn. Students spend their day in open-air studios naturally landscaped with grassy meadows, aspen groves and alpine ponds. The entire campus of Perry-Mansfield is a National Historic District because of the significance of the historic buildings and performing arts at Perry-Mansfield.
The Cabins
All of our cabins are centrally located and within a short walk of the dining hall and classroom/rehearsal spaces. Emerging Artist, Young Artist and Professional Intensive students reside in dormitory style cabins with a common room and bathrooms, while Pre-Professional students reside in cabins housing 2-4 students and walk to nearby bathrooms and showers.
Performance & Practice
The Perry-Mansfield campus includes four dance studios, two theatres, a costume shop, an art studio, rehearsal spaces, a creative writing studio, an infirmary, dining hall, scene shop, camp store, stables, barn, and riding arenas. Perry-Mansfield works with Colorado State Child Care Licensing agencies to maintain stringent safety requirements for all of our buildings.
