PRE-PROFESSIONAL INTENSIVE, YOUNG ARTIST INTENSIVE, AND JUNIOR PROGRAM STUDENTS ONLY
Scholarships are awarded in the areas of dance, theatre and musical theatre. Scholarships are merit-based, however, financial need is taken into consideration. Those interested in applying for a scholarship can participate in a live audition or submit a video to be viewed by the appropriate departmental faculty and directors. The deadline for videotaped auditions is February 1. (See the video criteria below.) All students who audition will be notified by March 15th.
The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) provides scholarships each year to students who excel in the areas of musical theatre, composition and voice. This will be the tenth consecutive year that ASCAP has provided scholarships through The ASCAP Foundation John Denver Music Scholarships supported by Music Alive! and The Cherry Lane Foundation. We thank ASCAP, Cherry Lane Music, and Rosalie Meyer for their generous support.
