BUILD YOUR SKILLS Perry-Mansfield has a long and proud tradition of providing equestrian instruction. In fact, our camp was the first to offer English riding instruction west of the Mississippi! Our qualified instructors teach traditional equitation and jumping in conjunction with horse care skills and will even encourage you to take responsibility for the care of your favorite horse. If you love horses, the Perry-Mansfield Equestrian Day Camp is for you!
WHAT YOU’LL STUDY
A genuine desire to share quality instruction in a rustic mountain setting is the legacy that is carried on in each of our camp sessions. The one week Equestrian Day Camps are for the student intent upon pursuing his or her equestrian interests. These sessions are Day Camps (no residential/overnight students) beginning at 9:00am and ending at 4:00pm. No experience is necessary and lunch is provided each day.
Students spend their mornings taking riding lessons and learning about horse care, barn management and horse health. In the afternoon students go on trail rides, participate in art projects, and take field trips to watch local equestrian professionals. In the case of inclement weather, we will substitute other camp activities for riding.
In lieu of a public performance, Equestrian Campers present a Showcase Day on their final day of camp. Showcase Day allows parents to meet the instructors and to observe the students sharing all they have learned.
CLASS REGISTRATION
Equestrian students have a pre-set curriculum and do not register for class.
TUITION
Tuition costs inlcudes lunch only. Unfortunately, scholarships are not available for the Equestrian Day Camp.

PAYMENT, DEPOSIT AND REFUND POLICY
Full tuition is due at the time of application. Tuition and activity fees, less a $100 processing fee, are refundable prior to April 15. No money is refunded after April 15.
