THE BALLAD OF SUSIE PICKFORD (or BLOOD GUTS AND GRIFT)
by Edith Freni and Aaron Jones directed by Nell Balaban music directed by Timothy Splain
choreographed by Alicia White It’s 1872 and Susie Pickford, outlaw grifter, has just wandered into the wicked little town of Tin Cup, Colorado, with plans of turning a quick profit and getting outta dodge before the locals catch on. When Tin Cup’s sheriff gets shot up outside the town saloon, Susie finds herself drawn into the chaos of this lawless boom town and implicated in his death. But she also finds what she’s been missing since she was orphaned at the age of three: a chance at love, family and stayin’ put. THE BALLAD OF SUSIE PICKFORD is a boot stompin’, knee slappin’ heck-of-a-goodtime musical about taming the wild heart in the heart of the wild west.

THE NOSE
(adapted from the short story “The Nose” by Nikolai Gogol)
by Susan Soon He Stanton
directed by Raelle Myrick- Hodges
A man wakes up one morning to discover his nose is missing. At the same time, across town, his barber is horrified to discover the nose in his breakfast roll. The man begins a desperate search to find his nose, as his barber sets out to discard it. Meanwhile, the nose has begun to go on adventures of its own, and is seen riding around St. Petersburg in a fine carriage. How will the man reattach the nose back to his face? And will the nose give up the lavish lifestyle to which it has become accustomed? THE NOSE, a loose and irreverent adaptation of Gogol’s classic tale, employs puppetry, mask, and clowning techniques.
