The Pre-Professional Intensive offers pre-professional training for the student who is focused on dance. The six-week program is an immersion in dance at the highest possible level. Students take technique classes in Ballet and Modern dance. These may be supplemented with classes in Jazz, Dance Composition, Pointe, Tap, Aerial Dance and Repertory. In addition to intensive dance technique and elective classes, students will have the opportunity to learn and perform original choreography and repertory by faculty and guest artists. All students have the opportunity to observe and interact with faculty and guest artists whose backgrounds include performing with Paul Taylor, Alvin Ailey, David Parsons, José Limon, Robert Battle, the Royal Danish Ballet, the Hamburg Ballet, the Mannheim Ballet, New York Theater Ballet, Twyla Tharp, The Lion King and others.Find Us On Facebook
