Class-level placement and production casting is determined by audition-style evaluations conducted by the faculty on the first full day of camp. Intermediate students have five class periods per day, and can choose from a selection of dance, theater and musical theater core classes, with electives in dramatic writing, visual arts and equestrian. Residential students are required to take a minimum of four classes a day. Day students are required to take a minimum of two classes in their preferred discipline to participate in the public performances.
Students register for classes on a first-come, first-served basis, and specific classes cannot be guaranteed. Students are encouraged to have several alternate classes in mind upon registration in the event that courses fill-up early. Students will sign-up for classes within the first two days of camp. Faculty and staff will guide students through this process.
