Perry-Mansfield is located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, 150 miles northwest of Denver. A small Rocky Mountain community of 9,000, Steamboat Springs is rich with Western charm and natural beauty.

Nestled in the hills of beautiful Strawberry Park, our rustic 76-acre campus provides students a safe, nurturing environment in which to learn. Students spend their day in open-air studios naturally landscaped with grassy meadows, aspen groves and alpine ponds.

All of our cabins are centrally located and within a short walk of the dining hall and classroom/rehearsal spaces. Junior and Young Artist students reside in dormitory style cabins with a common room and bathrooms while Pre-Professional students reside in cabins housing 2-4 students and walk to nearby bathrooms and showers.

On the Perry-Mansfield campus there are four dance studios, two theatres, a costume shop, two art studios, rehearsal spaces, two dramatic writing studios, a music composition lab, an infirmary, dining hall, scene shop, cantina, camp store, stables, barn, and riding arenas. Perry-Mansfield works with Colorado State Child Care Licensing agencies to maintain stringent safety requirements for all of our buildings.

Two Registered Nurses reside on campus and are available 24 hours a day. Perry-Mansfield has an Infirmary where all medication is stored and administered. Students are insured by Perry-Mansfield while at camp for accidents and illnesses, however pre-existing conditions are not covered. Yampa Valley Medical Center is located seven miles from campus. Students/Staff requiring non-emergency medical care are taken to Steamboat Medical Clinic.

Our chef has been preparing meals at Perry-Mansfield for the last fourteen years. He and his staff ensure a nutritious, well-balanced diet for each student. Each meal is served buffet style and provides a variety of delicious options. A full salad bar and other vegetarian options are provided for lunch and dinner meals. The kitchen staff readily accommodates students with special dietary needs.
