Thomas Conroy


Thomas Conroy is an actor and musician living in New York and working in regional theaters around the country. Recent roles include: Anthony in End of the Rainbow at Music Theatre of Connecticut and Captain Scott in Peter and the Starcatcher at Cider Mill Playhouse. He is a member of the T. Schreiber Studios, NYC, where he studies with Peter Jensen and where he just completed a three-week run of Jim Gordon's The First Bridge as part of the Schreiber Shorts 2017. At the Kitchen Theatre in Ithaca, Tom played Herbie in Precious Nonsense last fall. Other recent credits include:Violet as music director at Festival 56 in Princeton, IL; Almost Heaven: John Denver's America as director and music director on Hilton Head Island, SC; 8-Track as music director at Shadowlands Theatre in Ellenville, NY; and Gypsy as music director at Music Theatre of Connecticut, Norwalk, CT. He spent the winter and spring of 2016 on tour with In The Mood, a 1940s big band swing show. Education: Rice University, Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition; St. John's College, Santa Fe, Master of Liberal Arts (Great Books program and Homeric Greek); San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Master of Music, Composition; Royal Nation Theatre of London, Classical training program.
