Gabriel Williams (MFA) is an educator, researcher, performer, choreographer, and filmmaker. He has danced principal and soloist roles with Oakland Ballet, Sacramento Ballet, New York Theatre Ballet, Amy Seiwert’s Imagery, Milwaukee Ballet 2, Black Rock City Ballet, Madison Ballet, Peninsula Ballet Theatre, and as a guest artist with the Trey McIntyre Project, Ballet Idaho, Idaho Dance Theatre, and Dance Through Time. He has appeared on the TV show Glee, starred in the feature film Shteps, and performed in equity summer stock musical theatre. He has also collaborated with Ilana Goldman on two successful dance films, Convergence and Fledgling, and has taught ballet, jazz, tap, and partnering around the country. Gabriel is trained in Pilates through Balanced Body, Personal Training through NASM, and integrates his training in the dance sciences into his teaching, choreography, and coaching with dancers. Having endured many injuries during his career, he is passionate about promoting education in the dance sciences to support rigorous physical practice in support of artistic exploration. He is overjoyed to return again as faculty to Perry-Mansfield.
